Developing a Small Molecule to Inhibit Phage Infection of Bacterium Pseudomonas

The overgrowth of biofilms may block sewage treatment pipelines. An interesting idea arises that we can utilize phages to control the growth of biofilms. But, how to stop excessive damage?

In our project, we aim to find a drug to protect P. putida from phage infection, via a screening system that we constructed ourselves.
So, let’s start to see how the effective molecule and phages can control the density of biofilm in wastewater treatment.
